Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the services offered by Deep Cleaning LLC, doing business as Deep Clean Maine ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking a service or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Services

Deep Clean Maine provides residential and commercial cleaning services in Portland, South Portland, Scarborough, and surrounding areas of Southern Maine. The specific scope of each cleaning appointment is agreed upon at the time of booking. We reserve the right to decline any job that poses safety risks to our team or falls outside our standard service offerings.

2. Booking & Scheduling

• Appointments can be requested via our website contact form, email, or phone.
• Bookings are confirmed once you receive a written or verbal confirmation from our team.
• We will make every effort to arrive within the scheduled time window. Arrival times may vary due to traffic or prior job overruns.
• Please ensure that a responsible adult (18+) is present or that access to the property is arranged in advance.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• 24-hour notice: Cancellations or reschedules made at least 24 hours before the appointment are accepted at no charge.
• Less than 24 hours: A cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted service price may apply.
• Same-day cancellations or no-shows: Full appointment fee may be charged.
• We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to weather emergencies, equipment failure, or team illness. We will notify you as promptly as possible and offer a rescheduled date at no extra charge.

4. Access to Property

You are responsible for ensuring our team has safe and timely access to the property at the scheduled time. If our team arrives and cannot gain access, the appointment may be treated as a same-day cancellation and subject to a cancellation fee.

5. Pricing & Payment

• Pricing is provided as an estimate and may be adjusted based on the actual condition and size of the property.
• Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• We accept cash, check, and major credit/debit cards.
• Invoices not paid within 7 days of the service date may be subject to a late fee.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not satisfied with any area of your cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours of the completed service. We will return to re-clean the areas of concern at no additional charge. Claims made after 24 hours may not be eligible for a free return visit.

7. Damage & Liability

• Deep Clean Maine is fully insured. In the event of accidental damage caused by our team, please notify us within 24 hours with photographic evidence.
• We are not responsible for damage to items that are pre-existing, improperly assembled, or inherently fragile (e.g., antiques, loose artwork, items without stable bases).
• Our liability for any single claim is limited to the cost of the cleaning service performed.
• We are not liable for any loss of cash, jewelry, or other valuables left unsecured on the property.

8. Our Team

All Deep Clean Maine employees are background-checked, trained, and insured. We ask that clients treat our team members with respect. We reserve the right to remove our team from any environment that is unsafe, hostile, or poses a health risk, with no penalty or refund obligation.

9. Client Responsibilities

• Secure pets in a safe area prior to our arrival.
• Remove or secure fragile, irreplaceable, or high-value items.
• Provide access to running water and electricity.
• Disclose any known hazards (mold, pests, biohazards) before the appointment.

10. Solicitation of Employees

Clients agree not to directly solicit, hire, or contract with any current or former Deep Clean Maine employee for cleaning services during the term of service and for 12 months after the last cleaning appointment. A referral fee of $500 may apply if this clause is violated.

11. Use of Website

The content on deepcleanmaine.com is for informational purposes only. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of the information. You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the site.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Maine. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cumberland County, Maine.
